Specific guidelines are followed to ensure your babies well being. Babies are encouraged to explore, interact and learn at their own pace. Parents are encouraged to participate with early language signing skills (Baby signs) and are given daily and monthly reports on their babies growth, well being, skills and development. more about babies click here Toddler Time Not a little baby, but not yet a big kid. No wonder this can be such a challenging age. I understand this and balance my toddlers' days depending on their own abilities and needs. Language skills are practiced (baby signs and zoophonics) and independence in several areas are allowed to encourage confidence and control. This is my favorite age!! They learn so much which can help to lay the pathways for future learning. Preschoolers One of my favorite sights is to watch a group of preschoolers investigating something they had not noticed before. Our kiddos are provided with ample opportunity to explore, play and learn. Our environment is safe and secure, yet there is always something new. Preschoolers schedules are loosely structured to provide preschool group time, independent time and time just to be. Various themes are explored through different mediums and toys are rotated on a monthly and weekly basis. School readiness and reading skills (Zoophonics) are practiced as well as problem solving and conflict management. Fours and Fives are given more freedom to explore as they wish. Phonics skills are repeated and an emphasis is placed on working with books and fine motor skills of drawing/ writing. My fours really enjoy our super science series and playing cooperative games.
